Smart Cities Training: A Case Study of Singapore (Video)

03 April 2017

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) designed a training program that will allow its staff from various operational departments to better understand Singapore’s approach and plans to becoming a Smart Nation, thereby contribute to enhancing ADB’s operations in the designing of potential ADB urban development projects.  The training covered key aspects of urban development, land transportation, water management and e-government based on the identified learning outcomes.   It introduced to the ADB officials how Singapore has approached and handled these aspects and integrating use of ICT Technology and Data Services to its various projects. At the end of the training, participants were equipped with tools and knowledge to an integrated and coherent approach to initiate, plan and manage Smart City programmes/projects.
