Adaptation options selected for implementation in a project must be scientifically sound, socially beneficial, and economically viable. In prioritizing and selecting adaptation options, certain considerations must be applied. Climate impact pathways can help. They are analytical tools that help identify adaptation choices by linking the impact and vulnerability assessments.
