One key innovation that revolutionized Maynilad's customer data management and billing is the Utility Management System (UMS). It was designed using Maynilad's Enterprise Resource Planning system as its building block.

The Maynilad UMS is especially designed for small and medium enterprises and water utilities to address common pain points in customer data management, meter reading and billing, customer collections, and subsidiary ledger.
