A well-understood safety measure for motorcyclists is the use of helmets and protective clothing. To increase the use of helmets and their effectiveness, it is crucial to go beyond promotion and enforcement and consider fundamental shifts in policies, strategies, and standards. This module also explores the case study of the attempts to encourage the use of helmets by children in Thailand.
