Andrew Raine and Matthew Baird led a session which aimed to formulate a regional strategy for Pacific judiciaries. With Mentimeter, the facilitators gathered the participants' thoughts about the (i) setting up of a judicial secondment or exchange program between Asia, Pacific, and other jurisdictions; (ii) drafting a Pacific-focused judicial training manual for national judicial academies; (iii) forming the first Pacific judicial network on environmental law or integrating Pacific judiciaries into existing networks; (iv) creating green benches in the Pacific; (v) establishing a Pacific Environmental Tribunal to act as mediator or arbitrator in major investment disputes; and (vi) identifying the impediments to environmental and climate justice in the Pacific.
