In this Tech Talk, ADB's Hubert Jenny talked about the water challenges of Beijing as well as a number of international best practices on water conservation, such as from the Netherlands, United States, and Viet Nam, and other proposed interventions, including the use of water-saving fixtures and labeling systems, recycling treated effluent, drought-resistant landscaping, and expanding urban wetlands and groundwater recharge amounts.
