This presentation explains the current situation of smart community and energy policy and strategy in Japan. It provides sample demonstration projects by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry; and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization. It also  introduces the Japan Smart Community Alliance.
