This presentation highlights the wide-ranging and diverse roles that think tanks play. As instructions that occupy a place between government and academia, they can act as a bridge between research and policy. Three areas are identified where think tanks can contribute to Asia’s future: sharing the fruits of development, minimizing security threats, and preparing to respond to climate change.
