The presentation outlined a pilot project in Bangladesh that applied a women-led, participatory approach to climate-resilient green road planning, combining Green Roads for Water and Locally Led Adaptation methodologies; it highlighted how women were engaged in identifying risks, designing solutions, and contributing to implementation, resulting in improved road resilience, water management, and community livelihoods, while demonstrating that inclusive planning, capacity building, and continuous stakeholder engagement were essential for scaling sustainable and gender-responsive road development.
