Following an overview on Baseline Biodiversity Assessment (BBA), this session deepens the appreciation of the use of web-based tools for BBA and stakeholder engagement. An overview on web GIS architecture, foundation project life cycles, and key components (e.g., data inventory, data collection, and mapping and analysis) were presented. To show how the tools are being used in a real world scenario, a demo on Narayanghat-Hetauda-Patlaiya (NHP) case was included.
