Equal Aqua (EA), a collaborative platform hosted by the World Bank, aims to promote and strengthen female representation in the water sector by connecting utilities, associations, representatives from the private sector, academia and local and international organizations. The platform provides capacity building, benchmarking for gender inclusion for water organizations, knowledge resources, and opportunities for peer-to-peer exchanges. During this interactive session, speakers will provide an overview of Equal Aqua’s tools, discuss entry-points and global examples of initiatives to help women advance their careers in water, and will feature practical cases from utilities in Cambodia and Kenya.
