This presentation discusses how earth observation technologies can provide valuable information from satellite imagery in monitoring economies and how they can be particularly effective at quantifying the economic and social impact of COVID-19 in Asia. An improved geospatial information base can benefit project implementations and improve analytical capacity particularly for countries with limited data or information.
