Cybercrime is the most underestimated economic risk. Without proper understanding and a managed-risk approach to handling it, countries are severely exposed to outlier economic losses that could eventually cause broad reputational harm and unexpected financial losses.

This workshop presented the following issues:

  • An introduction to cyber threats and risk perception at the ministry and board level, as well as the trends, economic losses, and insurance damages in Asia and beyond.
  • How to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and control parts of this unparalleled risk.
  • Concrete incident scenarios, by engaging the audience in dynamic discussion on the challenges and solutions
