Land registry is integral to a country's asset management systems and serves as an indispensable tool for the market economy to work properly. This session described how ADB's Smart Systems Technical Assistance capitalized on data and technology to help Fiji modernize land administration systems, including the development of a blockchain prototype for leasing of customary lands.
