The Philippine Statistical Authority was one of the first to implement a Freedom of Information Program in the country. 

The Philippine Statistical Authority's Freedom of Information (FOI) People’s Manual, submitted in November 2016, enabled the agency to process requests effectively and efficiently through regular and frequent checking of the website for requests, institutional arrangements to ensure processing times for requests are within the time duration prescribed in the procedures, provision of complete information, internal system for unpacking complex requests before relaying to appropriate division, and information mapping system. Read more about their accomplishments.
