Poverty and social analysis (PSA) was key to the design and implementation of the Mandalay Urban Services Improvement Project. PSA enabled the project to contribute to the improved water supply system as well as wastewater and drainage management in Myanmar. This presentation details the role of the social development specialist and the documents necessary in conducting a PSA as illustrated in this urban project.
