Climate change may cause severe floods in Myanmar, that in turn, may cause extensive damage to urban services and facilities. ADB is helping the country prepare for the effects of climate change through the Mandalay Urban Services Improvement Project. The project demonstrates how a state of the art water and wastewaster system can be made climate-resilient through the use of earth observation technologies that provide data on land use and flood assessments.
