Event: Smart Cities: A Case Study of Singapore Knowledge Summary - Smart Cities: A Case Study of Singapore 03 April 2017 View File The ADB's objective was to have a training program that will allow its staff from various operational departments to better understand Singapore’s approach and plans to becoming a Smart Nation. This is expected to contribute to enhancing ADB’s operations in the design of potential ADB urban development projects. The training covered key aspects of urban development, land transportation, water management, and e-government, based on the identified learning outcomes. It introduced ADB officials to Singapore's approach to integrating the use of ICT technology and data services to its various projects. At the end of the training, participants were equipped with tools and knowledge they can use to craft an integrated and coherent approach towards Smart City programmes/projects.
