Experts presented pre-feasibility studies and initial engineering design in preparation for an ADB-funded project in Bangladesh.

Cities Development Initiative for Asia's Senior Urban Environmental Engineer Neil Chadder and Asian Development Bank's Senior Urban Development Specialist Mingyuan Fan served as speakers who talked about the work carried out in Gazipur and Khulna City Corporation in preparation for the ADB-supported City Region Development Project II. 

Work included the preparation of 20-year road maps for the two cities and the preliminary designs of the priority projects in the focus sectors of solid waste management, drainage and flood control, road transportation, sanitation and water supply.
