Water Supply Management for Sustaining the Operational Efficiency in Dhaka

Many challenges used to confront Dhaka's water supply system. The network had undetected leaks, water quality was poor, and illegal connections were prevalent.  ADB, through the Water Supply Management for Sustaining the Operational Efficiency in Dhaka project, provided ways to help the city address these challenges. It enabled Dhaka to establish a sustainable district metering area (DMA), build the capacity of water officials, and rehabilitate the city's water supply network.
