The International Road Transport Union (IRU) is considered the global voice of the road transport industry. This presentation highlights IRU's flagship programs and activities, including the Model Highway Initiative, Border Waiting Times Observatory, and the Transports Internationaux Routiers System (or TIR, which translates to International Road Transport). The event gathered specialists and other experts interested or working on road safety, economic corridors, and cross-border movements.
