Integrity Learning Series: Uzbekistan Integrity and Procurement Training

Uzbekistan

Thirty-two representatives from URM, executing and implementing agencies, and procurement and compliance officers from key government bodies participated in a training workshop in Tashkent. The training aimed to raise awareness of ADB’s integrity framework and strengthen knowledge and strategies to prevent and detect fraud, corruption, and other integrity risks, including managing such risks within procurement and financial management components of ADB-financed project delivery. URM CD Kanokpan Lao-Araya opened the event, welcoming participants and emphasizing the importance of effectively mitigating integrity risks in development projects.

Under RETA 10349’s Integrity Learning Series, ADB’s Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) provides tailored training for participants with oversight and project management responsibilities. Project teams seeking training for their project’s executing and implementing agencies may contact integrity@adb.org.
