14 May 2026

Uzbekistan

On 14 May 2026, 25 representatives from executing and implementing agencies, project teams, and 29 staff from the Uzbekistan Resident Mission in Tashkent participated in two in-person learning sessions under ADB’s Integrity Learning Series (ILS). The morning session focused on strengthening anticorruption and integrity capacity among executing and implementing agencies, while the afternoon session was designed for resident mission staff involved in project processing and implementation, with a practical focus on integrity risks commonly encountered in sovereign operations.

Participants enhanced their understanding of ADB’s anticorruption and integrity framework, including key integrity risks, red flags, due diligence processes, and sanctions screening. OAI also highlighted integrity violations, enforcement actions, and their implications for project implementation.

Under RETA 10349’s Integrity Learning Series (ILS), OAI provides tailored training for DMC partners with oversight and project management responsibilities. Project teams interested in integrity training for executing and implementing agencies of their projects may contact integrity@adb.org or complete this form.
