Further to the initiative of the capacity development resource center (CDRC), the Pakistan Resident Mission successfully organized and conducted a five-day FIDIC RED BOOK 2017 Training at Islamabad from 28 August to 1 September 2023.

The training was organized to support and assist the Executing Agencies and Implement Agencies by strengthening their capacity to implement their projects and achieve their development objectives effectively. The 5-day interactive learning forum encompassed active discussion around the following themes: Review of ADB’s new Conditions of Particular Application (COPA), Key changes in 2017 Red Book, Delay under the Contract and Introduction to Delay Analysis, Introduction to Costs for Delay Claims, Introduction to Variation Pricing and Question to Participants/Case Studies, Quality testing and defects, Engineer’s Role and DAABs, Contract Termination.
