ADB Data Room: Green and Resilient Ports in Southeast Asia

Green and resilient ports are increasingly central to sustainable infrastructure development in Southeast Asia. As critical gateways for trade, tourism, and energy, ports face growing pressures from climate change, decarbonization targets, evolving environmental standards, and rising stakeholder expectations. Strengthening resilience, reducing emissions, improving environmental management, and enhancing community engagement are essential to ensuring the long-term competitiveness and sustainability of port infrastructure.

Through the ASEAN Catalytic Green Finance Facility (ACGF), ADB is advancing knowledge exchange and innovative financing solutions to accelerate the transition toward greener, more resilient ports across the region. This data room brings together webinars, blog articles, and other knowledge resources developed through ongoing learning and knowledge-sharing activities on green and resilient ports. Insights from these engagements are informing the development of the forthcoming Green Ports Toolkit, which will provide practical guidance for planning, financing, and implementing sustainable port solutions across Southeast Asia.
