AASCTF Smart Cities Networking Days 2022

21 June 2022 to 22 June 2022

AASCTF supports ASEAN cities with a strong vision to transform their cities and become pioneers in developing and executing holistic and smart city plans and strategies prioritizing livability. This two-day virtual networking event served as a platform to showcase ideas, approaches, digital solutions, lessons learned from our ongoing pilot projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, and use cases from partners in Australia and Europe. It was also an opportunity for participants to learn from and meet with peers working on smart city development across the ASEAN region and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Sessions during the event focused on smart city planning, smart mobility, strengthening urban resilience, and increasing institutional capacity in cities. Various stakeholders include local government officials and city managers working in urban planning systems, urban service delivery and/or financial management, the private sector, international financial institutions, multilateral organizations, non-government organizations, and members of the academe and urban development and smart city practitioners.
