Ms. Shaheen is Principal Procurement Specialist - Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD), and assigned as Procurement Sector Lead to support Water and Urban Development portfolio of ADB. She has 30 years of experience working in public procurement on various infrastructure projects and procurement reforms. Over the last 13 years with the Bank, she has been supporting diversified and challenging portfolios across the Bank. Prior to joining ADB, she served United Nations missions in various capacities in countries such as Sri Lanka, Lebanon, and Afghanistan. Ms. Shaheen holds a master’s degree in business administration (Finance and Accounting) from Preston Institute of Management Science and Technology and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan.
