Mafalda Pinto is a civil engineer, specializing in hydraulics and water resources. Before joining ADB in 2020, she worked in the private sector on international assignments in the design and engineering of municipal water, wastewater, fecal sludge networks, and treatment plants. Mafalda has experience in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Her main areas of expertise are wastewater and fecal sludge management, and circular economy. Mafalda holds a MSc in Civil Engineering for Instituto Superior Tecnico, University of Lisbon and is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.

A Civil & Environmental Engineer- by profession is currently working as the Water Resources Specialist in the Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Rural Development Sector in the Bangladesh Resident Mission of ADB. She joined ADB in 2019 and had been working as the Project Officer for the Emergency Assistance Project till January 2022.

Antti Inkinen is the Regional Director for NIRAS International Consulting in the APAC region and NIRAS Managing Director in the Philippines. An economist by training, he has more than 15 years of experience in sustainable development in emerging and developing countries in fields including natural resources management and governance, water, climate change, and renewable energy in policy as well as project design and delivery. On his second stint in Asia, he has been based in Manila since 2019 following his previous position as the Director of NIRAS Finland.

Vasiti Seruvatu lives and works in Fiji, and is currently the national WASH officer for the ADB Pacific WASH TA, working closely with the Water Authority of Fiji.

Tom is Senior WASH Advisor at Plan International Australia and is a qualified engineer with over 16 years of experience managing WASH and engineering projects across the Pacific, Asia, and Africa.  Tom provides program management and technical support to Plan International country office teams and partners with a current focus on the Pacific region.   

Brian Quan Inomea is the Sanitation Construction Officer for Plan International (SI) Urban WASH project. Brian is an accomplished construction designer, who enjoys using his skills to contribute to the exciting sanitation activities that happen every day at Plan International (SI). Brian graduated from the Fiji National University of Building, Science, and Technology in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
