Simona Somma

Simona Somma has worked in the international development arena since 2005, both in the field and at headquarters, managing large development programs and leading complex evaluations at the project and country levels. She is currently an Evaluation Specialist at the Independent Evaluation Department of ADB. Before ADB, she worked for the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD, for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, and for UNDP in Yemen. She holds a Master's degree in Economics and one in Project Cycle Management.

 

Tran Quy Suu

Tran Quy Suu has a background in Sociology and Development Studies. He has 16 years of experience working on Social Safeguard for ADB-funded projects. Most of his works are in Southeast Asian countries. His expertise in the Social Safeguard includes planning, implementation, and monitoring. He is currently working for the ADB’s TA on Strengthening Safeguards Management in Southeast Asia as a Resettlement Specialist.

Genevieve O’Farrell

Genevieve O’Farrell has close to 20 years of experience working on environmental assessment and management of development projects, sustainability appraisal, climate risk management, capacity building, and delivery of country-orientated solutions for diverse clients across a range of sectors.  She has worked for ADB for 8 years.  Genevieve joined ADB Cambodia Resident Mission (CARM) at the end of 2016. She manages the CARM Gender and Safeguards Team and is responsible for environmental safeguards for Cambodia and Lao PDR portfolios.

Southeast Asia Regional Forum on Successful Project Design and Implementation in Cambodia

The Southeast Asia Regional Forum on Successful Project Design and Implementation was a gathering of more than 100 key officials and project implementers from seven developing member countries. Representatives from the governments of Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam took part in the three-day knowledge event and networking from 30 July to 1 August 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
