Gunnar Köhlin is the Director of Environment for Development. He is also an Associate Professor at the Environmental Economics Unit, Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg.

He has spent 30 years working with applications of environmental economics in developing countries including the development of a dedicated PhD program in environmental and development economics.
