Although the lion’s share of foreign investors’ attention is on the capital city of Yangon, it is worthwhile to focus on Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city. In addition to its natural and economic advantages, Mandalay is a major node on the emerging South Asia to Southeast Asia Corridor, as well as on the North South corridor linking Yunnan province in the People's Republic of China with the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean.
