Using ICTs to Leverage Women's Entrepreneurship in Central Asia -- Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Uzbekistan

This presentation tackles the current environment for Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) for womens' entrepreneurship development. It also identifies women entrepreneurs' ICT access and provides recommendations in leveraging appropriate ICT tools for womens' entrepreneurship development, particularly in Central Asia.

Women's Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Empowerment: Moving Forward in Imperfect Markets

ADB, through its Gender Equity Thematic Group, held a regional seminar on Women's Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Empowerment: Moving Forward in Imperfect Markets designed primarily for senior government officials and private sector partners associated with implementing ADB-financed loan programs in promoting women’s employment, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment. The event took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 20-22 May 2015.
