Dr. Tran Dai Nghia is the head of the Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Economic Studies, the head Climate Change and REDD+ research group at IPSARD, a member of the NDC and NAP task force and also the head of technical advisory group to the COP 26 implementation taskforce and an advisor for the sustainable, responsible and transparent transformation of food system and agricultural carbon market within MARD; leading the process of development of MRV tools and GHG inventory guidelines for AFOLU sector.

Dr. David R. Boyd is the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights and the environment (2018-2024) and a law, policy, and sustainability professor at the University of British Columbia. He has written ten books and 150+ reports and articles on environmental law and policy, human rights, and constitutional law. His books include The Rights of Nature (ECW Press, 2017), The Optimistic Environmentalist (ECW Press, 2015), The Right to a Healthy Environment (UBC Press, 2012) and The Environmental Rights Revolution (UBC Press, 2011). 

Ms. Heather Adair-Rohani leads the work on energy and health at the World Health Organization Headquarters. She has led the establishment of the Health and Energy Platform of Action, and the High-level Coalition on Health and Energy. Ms. Adair-Rohani co-led the coordination and development of the WHO guidelines for indoor air quality: household fuel combustion and is currently overseeing the work to support countries in the implementation of these Guidelines through the Clean Household Energy Solutions Toolkit.

Mark’s aim as Executive Director is to ensure that C40 Cities is equally focused on science-based climate action and political leadership for climate justice. C40 has grown dramatically in scope and ambition under Mark’s tenure and its 300 staff now support nearly 100 of the world’s leading cities, representing around 700 million residents. Prior to joining C40 Cities, Mark was a director at pioneering engineering and design firm, Arup; and previous to that role he was a senior adviser to the Mayor of London.
