She currently serves as the Director, National Procurement at the Ministry of Finance and Planning, a role she has held since February 2023. In this capacity, she oversees procurement operations above a threshold of MVR 5 million and ensures compliance with international and local regulatory frameworks, and leads initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency within the public sector. Naheen’s academic background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) from the Open University Malaysia.
