The eLearning course on ADB project cycle for sovereign operations provides an overview of the five stages of ADB’s project cycle: 1) project identification, 2) design and preparation, 3) approval, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. The course is designed for DMCs and interested external stakeholders to enhance their understanding of ADB processes and requirements.
Program Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
- Identify the features of each stage of the ADB project cycle
- Recognize how the stages of the project cycle are related
- Understand the steps and actions to be taken and
- Recognize the quality standards and requirements applied in the project cycle.
Course Modules: The course comprises six modules, with Module 3 (Design and Preparation) and Module 5 (Implementation), each split into two parts that align with the project cycle. Each module ends with a quiz at the end to help participants validate their understanding.
To supplement learning, the course includes links to reference materials and other knowledge sources.
Completing each module will take approximately 10 to 35 minutes, with a total runtime of about 3.5 hours. The modules are structured in sequential order, with each building on the one preceding it.
