Mr. Joe Sapa is the current acting Chief Executive Officer for the National Procurement Commission of Papua New Guinea. He is pioneering the introduction of the e-GP (electronic government procurement) system with the vision to transform the public procurement landscape in Papua New Guinea.
Joe has more than 30 years of experience in the public service of Papua New Guinea, specifically in areas of public finance, planning and budgeting, public procurement, and corporate and strategic management. He attained his Master’s Degree in Management from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and PNG Institute of Directors.
