Mr. Leki Tshering is the Procurement Management and Development Division's Chief Procurement Officer at the Ministry of Finance of the Royal Government of Bhutan. Before entering the procurement field in April 2010, he served as a finance officer at a local government agency.
He holds an MBA from the University of Canberra in Australia and is also a member of the UK's Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS). Leki has played a key role in spearheading procurement reforms in Bhutan, which include consolidating procurement functions, modernizing procurement job descriptions, and operationalizing grievance mechanisms.
