Mr. Kyunghoon Ahn is an accomplished public procurement expert with over 17 years of extensive experience reforming and optimizing government procurement practices at the Public Procurement Service of Korea (PPS). His professional term has been marked by significant contributions to reforming and streamlining procurement regulations and fostering transparent, efficient purchasing mechanisms in Korea.
From 2017 to 2020, Director Ahn served at the International Trade Centre (ITC), where he played a pivotal role in integrating Korea’s e-procurement platform KONEPS (Korea On-line e-Procurement System) with ITC's Trade Map and Procurement Map systems, enabling broader access to global procurement information.
Nowadays, as Director of Planning and Finance, Mr. Ahn leads initiatives in developing comprehensive procurement policy and future strategies at the Public Procurement Service.
