Takuya is a Planning and Policy Specialist in the Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He currently focuses on policy development and institutional coordination for ADB’s sovereign operations.
Previously, Takuya led several lending and technical assistance projects for public management and financial sector development in South Asian countries, including those related to infrastructure finance, SME sector development, capital market development, and macroeconomic stabilization.
Before joining ADB, Takuya worked at the Ministry of Finance of Japan, primarily on international financial policies. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the United States, as well as a Master of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws, both from Japan.
