Raul Katz is president of Telecom Advisory Services (www.teleadvs.com), which advises private and public sector organizations in strategy, regulation, and business development. He is also Director of Business Strategy Research at the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information at the Columbia Business School in New York, where he has taught courses in digital strategy. In 2004, Dr. Katz retired as a Lead Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was a member of the firm’s Leadership Team and Head of the US and Latin America Telecom practice. In the past fifteen years, Dr. Katz has worked on the economic assessment of digital technologies. He received his PhD in Management Science and Political Science and an MS in Communications Technology and Policy from MIT. He also holds Communications Sciences and Political Science degrees from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
