Kate has 20 years of experience working on climate change and sustainable development policy, financing, and technology projects across the Asia Pacific region. Kate is a Principal Climate Change Specialist at ADB where she leads the mitigation team and focuses on climate policy and financing, including developing and managing programs and technical assistance projects to support countries to pursue transformational change to low-carbon and resilient development pathways; supporting operations departments to enhance climate considerations in their activities; and promoting multilateral and regional cooperation on climate change. She is leading the development of ADB’s institutional Just Transition agenda. Kate holds a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering and a Master of Engineering majoring in Energy Policy and Planning.
