Zeynep Pinar Ogretmen has over 15 years of experience in climate change and GHG emission reduction projects. She is highly skilled in the Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard certification schemes. She worked as a Regional Affairs Manager, coordinating efforts across different regions and identifying business development opportunities for Gold Standard. Currently, she continues her work as a Carbon Consultant providing services to project developers. Her expertise lies in GHG emission reductions in energy and agriculture sectors with experience in regions including South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Pinar previously worked as an environmental engineer, where she developed information systems for environmental assessments in public sector in Turkiye. She holds a BSc and an MSc in Environmental Engineering, as well as a second MSc in Environmental Informatics form Lancaster University, UK.
