Rocky Pairunan is currently the National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) Indonesia Manager sited at the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia as the Indonesia National Secretariat of NPAP. At WRI Indonesia, he holds a position as the manager for the Plastic Waste and Ocean portfolio. Prion to joining WRI Indonesia he was Senior Advisor for Plastic Project under German International Development Cooperation working in Indonesia and ASEAN from 2019, and ASEAN Secretariat as Environment Officer managing the cooperation on climate change, sustainable cities, and coastal and marine environment. Rocky has a background in the socio-economic of fisheries and marine spatial planning.
