Ana Vich is Economist of State since 2004, when she started her career at the Spanish Treasury, working as economic advisor in economic and financial issues related to the Eurozone. In 2008, she assumed the functions of the attached deputy director for sectoral policies in the General Directorate for Economic Policies, dealing with the underlying economic rationale of Spanish sectoral legislation. She worked as economic advisor at the cabinet of the Minister of Energy, Industry and Tourism from 2014 to 2018, and was appointed as Economic and Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Czech Republic. In 2021 Ana came back to Spain to work as economic advisor for the President of the Spanish National Commission for Markets and Competition (CNMC), and finally, she was appointed as Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Spain to New Zealand two years ago.
