Agnes Meiria is a program manager and gender focal point at YAKKUM Emergency Unit. She is in charge of program design and oversee its implementation, integrating cross-cutting issues, and building partnerships, as well as providing support and contribution/inputs to the program and management for proposal development. As a gender focal point, together with the management and the team, she works on the policy and strategy of gender just principles in both organizational and programming. As part of her works, she engaged in various projects that collaborated local communities, including grassroots women’s groups, older people, and persons with disabilities through disaster management and community resilience strengthening programs, facilitating a feminist participatory action research, and collaborating with relevant partners and stakeholders.
