A Swedish national, Anders Dahl represents Saab in Asia, currently as Head of Saab Philippines. Before this position, Dahl was Head of Saab Singapore for four years and Saab Indonesia for three years. Dahl has over 35 years of experience. He worked in high-tech sectors such as telecommunications and IT before moving into defence and security. Prior to Saab, he worked in Sweden in sales and marketing for U.S. telecommunications and broadband company Verizon (1999 to 2008) and prior to that, he was director of distribution sales for semiconductor chipmaker Intel (1990-1999) covering the UK and Nordic countries.
Dahl joined Saab in September 2008 in a marketing role covering electronic warfare. He was then promoted to head of global accounts for Saab Electronic Defence Systems (EDS). In 2012, he became Saab EDS marketing director for Singapore and Thailand, before being promoted to Head of Saab Singapore between January 2013 and December 2016 and Head of Saab Indonesia from 2017 to 2019. From November 2019 Dahl is serving as Country Manager for Saab Philippines.
Dahl is a member of Saab's Asia management team and is involved in the development of Saab’s strategies for the region. He has also represented Saab AB in the board of directors for Fortis Marine Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore.
Dahl has been Vice President of the Swedish Business Association of Singapore.
