Profile / Bio: 

Louise works on social dimensions of Just Transition at ADB. Originally trained as a lawyer she has national and international experience drafting labor laws in Australia, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. Louise also served as a diplomat in Australian missions in New Delhi and Kuala Lumpur. Before joining ADB, Louise held leadership roles on workplace gender equality policy in Australia – serving as the CEO of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and then the Office for Women, in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. She served on the executive of the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission of Australia, as the Attorney-General’s representative on the review of workers’ compensation, and as an advisor to the International Labor Organization. In addition to law, Louise holds qualifications in anthropology and management.
