Arjun Guha is an Evaluation Specialist (Energy Sector focal) at ADB’s Independent Evaluation Department (IED). At IED he leads project and sector-level evaluations in the energy sector and assesses the impact of ADB’s interventions in member countries. He has over 15 years of international experience working on energy infrastructure sectors across more than 20 countries across the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Before joining ADB in 2021 he served at the International Renewable Energy Agency in Abu Dhabi responsible for project finance facilitation for renewable energy, as well as with KFW - the German Development Bank and SunEdison Solar Energy in India, developing and financing renewable energy projects.
He is an electrical engineer with a bachelor's and master's from Purdue University, USA, and an MBA in Finance from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
