Marc Ayes is a Senior Integrity Officer at ADB’s Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) where he supports the Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) function in OAI’s Prevention and Compliance Division, including the conduct and assessment of IDD on ADB’s sovereign, non-sovereign and institutional counterparties. He also assists in managing OAI’s screening portal, a one stop IDD tool which allows users to screen not only against ADB's complete sanctions list and UNSC sanctions, but also other national sanctions, MDB sanctions, and adverse media relating to fraud, corruption, collusion, coercion as well as other integrity violations that provides a baseline of findings for users to consider the applicable integrity risk to their projects. He has over 5 years of experience in the conduct of IDD in ADB, and in the past has worked in ADB’s Private Sector Operations and Economic Research Department. Over the past 10 years, and prior to Joining OAI, he drove public policy advocacy and capacity building in the transport and technology sectors for various United States Agency for International Development (USAID) projects.
