Mr. Shim is Senior Procurement Specialist - Procurement Division 1, Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD), and assigned to support ADB’s portfolio in transport sector in the Central & West Asia region of ADB. He has over 29 years of experience working in public and private sectors on various infrastructure projects in energy, transport, and water sector. Over the last 6 years with the Bank, he has been supporting energy and transport portfolios in South Asia and Central & West Asia region. Prior to joining ADB, he served Korea National Railway, SK Ecoplant, Doosan Enerbility, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, and Korea Electric Power Corporation in various capacities in Asia, Middle East and America. Mr. Shim holds an MBA from University of Michigan in USA, an LLM from Rober Gordon University in UK and an MS & BS in Physics from Sogang University in South Korea.
